| FIData's
V4 Instant Loan Decision Solution - Internet Security Information
FIData Takes Security Very Seriously!
As a first tier provider of automated lending services to financial
institutions and their borrowers, FIData has coupled modern technology
with strict security policies and procedures, all designed for one
purpose: to protect the private information of our clients and their
borrowers against all types of loss and intrusion.
FIData's overall security program involves a number of different
components, including encryption of data transmitted over the Web,
hardware and software security, physical security of servers and
databases, and contractual security protection. This combination
of sound procedure and top quality technology creates an ultra-secure
environment for our customers' data.
All data transmitted over the Internet to and from FIData servers
is protected with high-level SSL encryption, which is the recognized
standard for protection of data transmitted over the Web. Our servers
will refuse a connection from any computer using browser software
that does not support SSL encryption. FIData has also enabled Server
Gated Cryptography (SGC) that increases encryption levels for many
overseas users or others using browsers that support SGC. FIDatas
email transmissions to client institutions are protected with 168-bit
encryption, one of the highest standards available today.
- FIData's Web pages are authenticated by Thawte and/or Verisign
SSL Web Server Certificates. These organizations verify that FIData
registration and domain name certificates are valid and that encryption
procedures are in place. Thawte and Verisign are acknowledged
leaders in Web site verification services.
- FIData's client agreements clearly state that all data collected
from borrowers and other users of our system always remain the
property of our client institution and will not be sold or delivered
to outside parties, except as specifically allowed by our client.
- FIData enforces strict physical security rules governing access
to our servers, firewalls, facilities and communication channels.
Only authorized individuals are permitted to access these systems,
and all FIData personnel are subject to thorough background checks,
including criminal history and drug screening, prior to employment.
- FIData has established rigorous procedures for backing up all
critical data, including secure off-site storage of data in encrypted
formats. These procedures would enable FIData to execute rapid
disaster recovery procedures, in the unlikely event these would
ever be needed.
- FIData's systems have been designed for maximum dependability
and "up time" through use of redundant server clusters,
redundant communications circuits and back-up power supply.
In every way possible, FIData observes the highest standards in
protecting client data at all levels. We also recognize that these
standards must be maintained over time, as new threats arise and
new technologies and techniques emerge to combat them. FIData pledges
to commit the resources necessary to maintain its high level of
security protection. As an Application Service Provider to financial
institutions, this level of commitment is essential.
